About Valentina

Valentina Corò was born the 15 December 1994 in Venice, Italy.

She started her musical artistic path very early being part at only 6 years old of the “Kolbe’s Childrens Choir” directed by Alessandro Toffolo.
In February 2017 she got the Bachelor’s Degree in Opera Singing at the Benedetto Marcello Conservatory of Venice with Stefano Gibellato as Vocal & Repertoire Coach, at the same time she got the Bachelor’s Degree in Economics & Management at the Ca Foscari University where now she is getting specialized in ARTS Management.

She has specialized with Luciana D’Intino, Sara Mingardo, Barbara Frittoli, with Opera Conductor J. Wallnig at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg, with Galina Pisarienko and Marina Alkseyeva at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow.

She received the opportunity to attend the Masterclasses organized by the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino Opera House after being considered “suitable” at the Final of an international contest, thanks to this she obtained the Role of Senta in the production of “The Legend of the Flying Dutchman” from “Der Fliegende Holländer” by R.Wagner and is a soloist member in the Venti Lucenti Ensemble for the productions “The Beethoven Game” at the Florence Opera House.
She is winner of several international Prizes & Awards: most recently the First Prize at the International Contest Tullio Serafin(2019) and the Winner of Renata Tebaldi Special Prize, which gave her the possibility to sing in memory of the Soprano at the Titano Teather in San Marino.

Moreover she is winner of the Young Talent Prize at the XXXI International Contest Ismaele Voltolini, with the assignment of Kate Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly executed under the conduction of Daniele Anselmi; the winner of the Special Prize by the Venetian Academy of Spectacle at the I International Contest Contea, the Third Prize & Special Prize at the 3d International Contest Contea in Treviso.

Winner of a scholarship released by the Italian Consulate in Moscow, for two worthy Italians, for a period pf specialization at the Moscow Conservatory Tchaikovsky with Galina Pisarienko and Marina Alekseyeva. (2015)

Her fist debut was at the age of 17 with the role of “Ministro” in the Contemporary Opera “I vestiti nuovi dell’imperatore” by Paolo Furlani, conduction by G. B.Rigon at the Conservatory of Venice; from that moment she has worked as Soloist and Chorister into important international scenarios: the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, La Fenice Theater, Mario Del Monaco Theater in Treviso, Olympic Opera House in Vicenza, Claudio Abbado Theater in Ferrara, Titano Theater in San Marino, Teatro Sociale in Rovigo, Verdi Opera House in Mantova (Buscoldo), Mozarteum University in Salzburg, Ateneo Veneto,Cini’s Foundation, Music Biennale, San Rocco in Venice, San Zeno Castle in Montagnana, Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow and many others.

In particular, she was : Vale in the Contemporary Opera AURA by Luca Mosca at the Mario Del Monaco Theater in Treviso (December 2015), Soprano-Soloist in the Petite Messe Solennelle by Rossini at the Olimpyc Theater of Vicenza (June 2016, CD record by Velut Luna), Clotilde in Norma by V.Bellini at the Mario Del Monaco, Claudio Abbado Theaters (conduction by Sergio Alapont, 2016/2017), Flora in Traviata by G.Verdi at the Treviso, Ferrara, Rovigo Opera Houses (conduction by F. Omassini, 2017/2018), Senta in The Legend of the Flying Ducthman at the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino ( conduction by La Malfa, April 2019, retransmitted by the Italian TVchannel Rai2), Soprano-Soloist in the Charpentier’s Te Deum Mass, Soprano-Soloist in the Coronation Mass by Mozart (December 2019, Conduction by Alessandro Toffolo) and Soloist within Venti Lucenti Ensemble in the production The Van Beethoven Game at the Florence Opera House.
